Olympic Giveaway p.2

It's really here. I actually got to this part of my to-do list today! Hooray.  AND I'm really excited to share.

What you see there is a fun pack of 6 giant (read 3x5") and a mini notepad (it has Miga & Quatchi on it).

Phew it's been a long weekend that is for sure.  I found out that I have a job interview tomorrow - I am a little nervous and a little excited!  Last minute notice is really putting me on my toes but maybe that's the best - go in just as me :)

Olympic (inspired) giveaway

What better than to mix the Olympics with something just (or almost) as amazing.. buttons! Sort of like medals?  Okay maybe not really but they are similar - round, olympic rings, circles.. you get it!  I have two sets of 50 buttons - 10 each of red, yellow, blue, black and green) as a giveaway this week! That's right TWO winners!

Did you see the womens snowboard cross today? it was spectactular (and Canada got gold!!) And have you seen one of the VISA sponsored Olympic commercials about a gift that Canada sent to a Norweigan coach? I can't find the video on youtube but when I do you'll see it here. It's hilarious and involves a LOT of maple syrup.

Giveaway Winner #4

I feel like I am at the Olympics, awarding someone a giveaway prize.  Did you watch the opening ceremonies last night? What did you think? It was pretty Canadian, thats for sure.  I laughed whole heartedly when the fourth post for the Olympic caludron wouldn't rise. In fact I think it made my evening.  The city is really exciting and there are so many free events to go to.. if only there was enough space for everyone :)

Monday: Giveaway goodness

That's right it's MONDAY!  The official week of the Olympics - ah!  And.. almost Valentine's day. To celebrate and just because it's fun I have another giveaway for the week. 

For the lucky winner I have a roll of kraft (pressure sensitive tape) and some heidi swapp metallic stars.  Both are perfect for any project - you can paint over the copper star to make it the right colour for your project.  So much fun.

Last Monday I was at a planning session for a small workshop that I co-facilitated on goal setting and getting more from employment.  My partner in crime was talking about a TED talk that I had never seen. I of course was all over checking it out because it sounded amazing and exactly what I needed. You should really check it out (I haven't figured out how to input to here).  My favourite part from the talk...

"It's not resources, it's resourcefulness..if you don't have the money, but you're creative and determined enough, you find a way.  This is the ultimate resource."

My motivation? I am about to graduate in May with a BS in Finance and all I want to do is bead?! I've decided to take the path less traveled and turn the other cheek on Wall St to follow my passions for jewelry design and crafting!

New Day New Attitude & Giveaway

The last few days I have been feeling blah. Just having a bad few weeks post-holidays.  It's a combination of stress (hello, wedding in 5 months), long overdue family issues, lack of change, no motivation and really just accepting the status quo.  The feelings aren't completely gone but I have decided that I am going to start everyday as its own, as a new one. Today is a new day and I have the opportunity for a new attitude and new perspective.  And to make things even better we have been having beautiful sunrises, which I ususally would never notice because most of the year the sun is up way before I am.  I am working on that too. 

Anyhow, as we move closer to Valentine's Day and LOVE month we should get on with our love affair here.  This week I have A 3 sets of embellishments for the lucky winner, two as listed and one as a surprise!
